Checklist for Vote

When considering a vote on a proposed bill or amendment that comes across my desk I will look at it thoroughly and it must pass a few test questions before I will vote.

1. Is the bill Constitutional? Yes-Go to 2, No- I vote No.
2. Can we pay for this without adding debt? Yes-Go to 3, No-I vote No.
3. Have I read the entire bill? Yes- Go to 4, No- I vote No.
4. Does the bill grow the size of government? Yes- I vote no. No- go to 5.
5. Does this bill have my constituents support? Yes- I vote yes, No- I vote No.

There are many more small test questions, but these are the most important ones to me.
